
After years of writing
and storing content that related to financial literacy and being
a better consumer, the staff at the Foundation realized that they
had an incredible resource on their hands that could be shared with
the public. With the help of their designers, the Mainstreet idea
was born. Spending on Mainstreet was created to provide visitors
with practical and easy-to-read personal financial advice. The site
is filled with quick tips and links to resources that are easily
searchable on a wide variety of financial literacy topics. The program
is designed to be stand-alone or as a complement to a financial
literacy educational curriculum. The Foundation's goal is to create
a friendly and approachable site that users can visit again and
again.
